In an interview with Damon Bruce of 95.7 The Game on Tuesday, Klay Thompson appeared to downplay the possibility that he is dating supermodel Abigail Ratchford.
Ratchford may have implied she had connections with Thompson in an Instagram post this summer, and Thompson’s aloofness in response to Bruce’s inquiry on the matter may suggest a distaste for the concept itself.
To set the stage for Thompson’s thoughts on the subject, Bruce enquired about Rocco, the Warriors star’s English bulldog (who also appeared in Ratchford’s article that prompted a rumor that went viral).
“He’s fantastic.” Thompson stated, “I’m living the life.” “We’re going to the park later to get some sun and have some fun.”
“Any pin-up models we should know about?” Bruce said, presumably referring to the aforementioned report.
“Are you with Rocco?” Thompson responded with a witty remark. “Oh, no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no “I’m simply trying to do the right thing.”
Bruce remarked on how quickly he dismissed the concept.
“Yeah, I’m looking for a good girl out there,” Thompson admitted. “Wouldn’t that be nice?”
Some may see this as a criticism, as Ratchford’s social media offerings aren’t exactly healthy.
Her initial Instagram post included two Moments and a tweet with the words “that was the best I’ve slept in a year” and an angel emoji, all of which were recorded by Twitter personality Rob Perez…

It’s worth noting that Thompson doesn’t appear in any of the photos, so any presumption that he was present is false. And it seems like he’d prefer the rumors that Ratchford started to die down.
